Another quasi-celebrity DUI

Nashville country singer LeAnn Rimes' former rival has pleaded guilty to a drunk driving charge.  Brandi Glanville, the ex-wife of Leann Rimes' new fiancé Eddie Cibrian, pleaded no contest or nolo in court on Friday, April 1, 2011.  A nolo plea is the basically the equivalent of a guilty plea, but cannot be used against a person in a civil court proceeding.

Glanville was arrested last October in Los Angeles, CA after law enforcement officers found her behind the wheel with a blood alcohol level higher exceeding the legal limit of .08. Glanville reportedly entered a plea bargain for a sentence of 36 months probation, three months of alcohol education courses, and a $390 fine.  Glanville and Cibrian split after Cibrian and Rimes confessed to having an affair when they met on the set of a television show they filmed together.
