Is DUI a traffic ticket?

DUI is not a traffic ticket.  DUI is a Misdemeanor Offense.  If you have had multiple offenses, you can be charged with Felony DUI.  You also face the loss of your drivers license, fines, community service, and jail time.  It is important to take your DUI case seriously from day one.  You need need immediate legal advice.  Your attorney must also send a hearing request to the Department of Drivers Services within 10 days or your license will be suspended for a year.
