The 10 Day Letter, Adiministrative License Hearings

Posted by Richard Lawson | Aug 25, 2010 | 0 Comments

When you are arrested for DUI, the police officer will take your license and issue you a 30 day permit.  Many people fail to look at the back of the permit, and as a result, they lose their license for 12 months.  If you turn the permit over, you will see that you only have 10 days to request a hearing at the Department of Drivers Services.  If you fail to request this hearing in writing, you waive your right to contest your license suspension.  So, if you are arrested for DUI in Hall County, contact an attorney immediately.  Your license to drive and your freedom are at stake.  Make sure you get the best defense to protect your rights.
