DUI Child Endangerment because of a note?

A couple of months ago in North Tonawanda New York, a woman was arrested for DUI after her nine year old daughter held up a note in the car window that said "please help us."  Fellow drivers noticed the message and called 911.  Police pulled over the woman who had two other minor children in the car and ended up arresting her for drunk driving and child endangerment

If Flowery Branch or Hall County police officers had observed and responded to such an occurrence, they would need probably cause to arrest the driver upon pulling over the vehicle.  They would typically speak with the driver and if she appeared impaired, would ask her to submit to field sobriety testing and a roadside breath test.  If a driver is charged with DUI in Flowery Branch, and they have minor children in the car, they are charged with DUI - child endangerment which magnifies the offense and statutory minimums.

If you are charged with a Flowery Branch DUI or child endangerment offense, call Hall County DUI attorney Richard Lawson's office today for a free case analysis.  Mr. Lawson has successfully resolved thousands of DUI cases and gotten his clients great results.  As child endangerment issues make a DUI offense particulary serious and risk the driver facing long jail time and loss of driving privileges, consulting with a DUI lawyer is of great importance.  Call Mr. Lawson today.
